1. 2 Cor. 5, absent from the body, present with the Lord. Story of Richman and Lazarus in Luke 16.
2. This is more complicated. An interesting story is told in Acts 7:55. Stephen looked and saw heaven and was able to identify Jesus. That would imply heaven is not that far away. Alternate dimension maybe.
3. Body returns to dust (Gen. 3:19). There is a very long discussion about the nature of the resurrection and resurrection body in 1 Cor. 15.
4. Not a lot of details. I would suggest you read through Rev. 21-22. There is a lot of metaphor there, but metaphor does have a purpose. In Rev. 22:1 "heaven" is described as a new heaven and new earth, a new universe. Why would not the universe be similar?
5. The Bible says there is a heaven. If the Bible is God’s Word then heaven is real. Even if the Bible is just a collection of moral stories, or a history of the Jewish people, or whatever, then we still don’t know if heaven is real or not.

The word spirit refers to several things. When you take it as the spirit that leaves our body upon death this is a non-living file of data about us that is needed to resurrect the person again. Data such as gender, age, body composition, DNA, memories, attitudes, all of such. This is stored in God’s memory banks for those that will receive resurrections once the kingdom is installed after Armageddon.

Heaven refers to a different reality which our universe is a subset of, a virtual universe if you like, a construct. Heaven then is the original reality, or universe, of God and his heavenly host.

Our bodies disintegrate upon death either through normal ways in the grave, or through fire as some like to be cremated. It is unimportant.

Not all shall inherit the heavenly promise. Those that do shall be priest-kings with Christ and rule the earth with him.

Heaven is a real place. Hell is nonexistent, and all who die are simply no more. That is, until some of these whom God choose are resurrected again.

my belief, after reading the Holy Bible and several other holy scriptures, and literally thousands of Near Death Experience tales, is this:

your body stays right where you left it, but YOU ‘implode’ inward, into the space between the spaces of all material things, and come out into the first stage of our eternal journey to ’see the face of God’

we are given a choice, we don’t have to continue on, we can just stop and ‘be made as if we never were’

however, if we choose to continue, in order to recognize God, we will have to be as perfect ‘in spirit’ as God, and that will take a long long long time, millions of years, so it is a good thing we have eternal souls

I need feedback! Is this interesting?
i am about to start a website that is promoting a shopping portal. Stores like Bloomingdales, Macys, Drugstore.com, Saks, Barnes and Nobles and thousands of other stores are signed on to our shopping portal and each store has a certain percentage discount that you get back after you shop there.

So my job is to get potential customers onto my website to promote the shopping portal. Besides promoting the shopping portal I would also blog and write articles that would appeal to my demographic of customers who would visit my site, so therefore I would be catering to the women from teenagers to mother and grandmothers.
I would write about relationships, health, fitness, life organization, beauty tips, beauty products review, clothing reviews, basically anything that would appeal to the common women of our society today.

I am also thinking if I should create a Youtube account and do beauty videos such as juicystar07 and allthatglitters21 do on their accounts. If you do not know who they are, they are makeup beauty gurus who give tutorials on how to do makeups and hair and such. And later on if I get enough fans I might also do vlogs which is exactly what juicystar07 and allthatglitters21 does (videos of their life. like updates on their life and such) I know it sounds completely superficial but there are people out there who do watch these videos and I myself love watching these things.

I don’t know if I will also do something like this because I need the green light from my boss. (aka my brother - he has his own website and his own business and I am lucky that he is giving me this opportunity to create my own buisness)

What is the difference between a German Shepherd and a White German Shepherd?
I know that there are kennel restrictions on the White German Shepherd regarding shows, but I want to know if there are any differences between the White breed and the "normal" breed (apart from the fact that they are differently colored). Are they separate breeds? What are the differences between the two breeds?

White German Shepherds and German Shepherds are the same breed, only White ones have genetics that make them white. People often consider them different breeds because of that, they try to keep white ones breeding with white ones to get more white ones. No difference, only their color is different.

AKC standards do not acknowledge "white" as a color for the german shepherd dog. A white german shepherd is simply a substandard color of the german shepherd and is not its own breed as many think.

There isn’t a difference between the two aside from color. Contrary to popular belief, white GSDs do not suffer from health issues due to their color. The AKC really needs to recognize this and adjust their breed standard.

White GSDs have been bred for color over temperament, conformation, and working ability…most of them have softer temperaments that a standard GSD, and very few of them can work. You will never see one doing protection/police work.

Sure, there are plenty of poorly bred "normal" colored GSDs out there with soft, sharp/shy temperaments and no working ability…however if you get a white one, your virtually guaranteed of this (even if you get one from an ethical breeder).

In the German Shepherd the white is caused by a masking gene which is why they have dark nose, eye rims, etc.

In Europe they are separate breeds and there are some here in the states that would like to separate the white coated GSD from the others.

Contrary to what someone else said, there are great white GSDs out there. You do not see as many working but you also don’t see American Line GSDs working either.

I have seen pictures of white GSDs in Schutzhund - and doing quite well at it. There are white GSD breeders out there that are doing all the right things - they are harder to find though.

ETA- I meant masking gene in the sense that it masks the color from showing not masking as in their dark face

There is NO "masking gene" involved in self-white. Join my group (address below) or Danielle’s http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/GSD_G enetics to do some learning.
The true "masking allele" is E^m, the one that produces a dark mask on many breeds. To be self-white, a pooch of any canine breed must be e^ e^ (to block the production of eumelanin (dark pigment)), so cannot posses E^m. It must also be homozygous for one of the 2 recessives that block the production of phaeomelanin (tan pigment).

Despite the AKC’s own arrogant opinion, the Standard of the GSD has NOTHING to do with the AKC - the GSD is NOT a Yank breed (although the NAmerican Ski-Slope Dogs that masquerade as GSDs in AKC & CKC rings sure are Yank & Canuck deviations).
And although fanciers of white will never accept it, the FACT is that there is NO HERDING BREED that is white. Every herding breed (and not all dogs translated as "Shepherd" are herding dogs - many, such as the Anatolian, are guarding dogs) is required to have a contrasty coat, with a dark area on top. The 2 most obvious reasons are that sheep don’t respect/fear white dogs the way they do dark dogs, and a yellow-white dog is hard for the farmer to see as it walks among the sheep (which is why the guardian breeds ARE usually yellow-white & woolly - the predator thinks the guardian dog is just a stupid sheep, which gives the dog a better chance to get close enough to catch it).

It depends on WHICH GSD and WHICH white GSD you are talking about.

To make it a little easier, let’s consider a litter with both white and non-white pups in it.
Okay, obviously the genetics are close to the same in both sets of pups, although random mixing during the meiosis stage that produces gametes (sperm, ova) plus random chance as to which sperm fertilises which ovum makes it immensely improbable that any 2 pups are actually genetically identical.
The key difference is that the white pups have a pair of both sets of "blocker" alleles - they are homozygous for the e^ that blocks eumelanin, and homozygous for either a^ or the as-yet-unidentified other allele that blocks phaeomelanin (some of us us have been calling it c^d just to give it a name, although DNA research has since proven that the C locus has the wrong chemistry to do that particular blocking). Whereas the non-white pups have avoided the full set of 4 alleles (2 pairs), but are very likely to have at least one of the set.

No damage has been identified as caused by either of those "blocking" alleles, nor has any damaging allele been identified as closely linked to either of them (unlike blues, where there is associated organ damage in some breeds, though not in GSDs. But some versions of the 2 pairs of alleles that create self-blue GSDs do seem to produce brittle ear-hairs that rub off between moults).

Rabbit nesting, lossing hair, and sprayed red liquid?
I have a rabbit that is around 6 years old and am pretty sure she is a female. I noticed that she had sprayed on the floor and cabinet. it was dark bron almost red. Not sure if it is blood or just urine. She has also started to make a nest out of hay and her hair. She doesn’t have any bald spots but there is a lot of hair. Any ideas or thoughts?

Whether it’s blood or pink/brown urine, that’s a sign she needs to see a vet. It could be a bladder infection or even uterine cancer (if blood is coming from her vulva - rabbits don’t bleed when they are in heat like dogs do). There is no fluid that should be coming from her that is the color you describe.

i dont know about the blood/urine thing but pulling her hair out means that shes getting ready to have babies. But!,,, that doesnt necessarily mean shes prego. Rabbits can pretend to be prego. They’ll pull their hair out and start lactating but they arent actually pregnant.
